AN AUDIO-VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE
Echolot is an experimental investigation of sound and composition in virtual space. Therefore space and sound mutually influence each other. By moving through the virtual space and interacting with the generative world the user is able to create, shape and combine sounds. Every object is interactive and reacts on the user and each sound or note can be looped and keeps its position in space.
This work also explores an approach of open and unbiased composition. The composer just creates circumstances in which the user and listener can freely operate and create a unique soundscape.
