knuckles is the attempt to find a new way of interacting with sounds. Thereby the man himself becomes an instrument and merges with the machine. Similar to a partial exoskeleton the rough, visible hardware gives knuckles its own aesthetic.

Possible applications could also apply to other fields. For example knuckles could enable a playful training of fine-motor skills in an interplay of ergotherapy and music therapy. It could also be a perfect tool for early musical education bringing children in touch with rhythm and musical scales.
